Jessica Faye Carter is a nationally-recognized expert on cultural and gender diversity and the author of Double Outsiders (JIST Works, 2007), an award-winning look at professional, diverse women. Her work has been cited in national media, including the Associated Press, Working MotherEssence, and MSBNC.com. She is a frequent speaker on social media and cultural and gender diversity, with recent events at the Catalyst Conference, The Conference Board's Diversity and Inclusion Seminars, Web 2.0 Expo - San Francisco, and Social Media Brasil.

Jessica is the founder and CEO of Heta Corporation, a professional services firm focused on cultural and gender diversity and inclusion and social technologies.  She is an advisory board member for Web 2.0 Expo - NY, and a guest writer for Mashable, one of the Internet’s most popular social media blogs.

Jessica was previously a corporate lawyer and holds a JD and an MBA from Duke University, and a BA in economics from Spelman College.
